We are thrilled to announce that talent Izzy Davies from Worthing has won the “Best Children’s Voiceover Performance”in the under 18s UK voice category at the prestigious One Voice Awards 2019.
Izzy won her award for a simply stunning performance for the upmarket Belgian home design brand Loncin.
At the time of the recording last October, we were so blown away by the quality of Izzy’s work that we sent out a newsletter entitled “Is this the perfect voice over?”
Obviously we know greatness when we hear it and the judges at The One Voice Awards agreed, even though Izzy faced tough competition at the Awards with five other talented youngsters on the shortlist.
Izzy, who is now 12 and attends Davison High School for Girls in Worthing, said: “I was really happy to get this award. I didn’t really believe it but then Mum told me I’d won. I love doing voiceovers and certainly want to carry on but I think I also want to work with horses when I grow up.”
Voiceoverkids director James Bonallack said: “We are certain that Izzy is one to watch and anticipate she will have a lifelong career in voiceovers. We are thrilled that she won this recognition at The One Voice Awards 2019. It was very well deserved. I’ve been working in this industry for over two decades and haven’t heard many voiceovers that I can actually describe as ‘perfect’ but this was definitely one of them. She’s supremely talented.”
